Helideck-Cert Inspect, test, maintain, certify Full inspection, testing, maintenance and certification of helidecks involves a wide number of disciplines, specialist subcontractors and internal resources. This can prove to be costly and difficult to schedule with respect to POB constraints. Integrating all periodic inspection, testing & certification activities within one multi-skilled team reduces vendor management costs, improves offshore scheduling and helps operators to reduce POB on offshore installations. The concept Working together, Semco Maritime, Bilfinger and APSN can deliver the required statutory inspection, testing, maintenance and certification of all relevant helideck systems through one, multidisciplined and integrated team. This combined team is trained to inspect, maintain and certify; • All EX-equipment • Lighting Systems • Control Panels • Perimeter and Landing nets • including subframe structure • Surface coatings, fittings and guttering • Tie down points • Fire Detection, Suppression and Deluge/Diff/Foam Systems • Telecoms and Emergency Response This offshore enactment team is supported by an onshore project management team which will also liaise with the Helideck Certification Authority (HCA) to ensure that the helideck is compliant and that the HCA is updated as to its status. In support of the work, Semco Maritime also provides a fully ATEX approved data-capture module which supports all relevant inspections and ensures that reports are streamlined and all data is captured. Our onshore support teams provide logistics, planning and project engineering support, developing maintenance plans to assure helideck availability. Onshore/offshore execution Jobs can be executed either offshore or onshore. We are happy to be deployed to yards as part of a refit process, be deployed offshore to a windfarm or oil platform and also support the FPSO and Marine marketplace. If it has a helideck, then we can deliver a team to inspect, maintain and certify it. Competence Our integrated teams are qualified and competent to carry out the specialist tasks they deliver, and we also include specialist electrical, cleaning, coatings and advanced and conventional NDT disciplines as part of our team. In addition, a large proportion of our workforce is rope access qualified. Our focus on integration means that we can inspect and certify as many systems as possible in the shortest time, with the lowest amount of POB. This means that we can deliver quickly and cost effectively. Project execution All projects are managed with the aid of software-based tools to provide accurate tracking of tasks and progress of the consequential actions. We also welcome any client specific training requirements, as well as provide teams that are fully industry ready. With continual focus on skills development, health and safety, we retain our people and their knowhow from project to project.
