Dual Agent The Dual Agent Fire Fighting System - SemDual is a manually operated unit, discharging dry chemical powder and AFFF foam. It is build for the protection of a helicopter landing area to meet CAP 437 specification. In operation, the dry chemical gives a quick knock down of the fire, and the water/AFFF foam mix gives cooling and a sealing surface to prevent re-ignition. SemDual is connected to the firewater ring main system via a standard flange connection. Correct mixing of foam is achieved through an in-line inductor. SemDuals hose reels are supplied with two individual hoses, where one hose is flowing dry chemical and the other is flowing water/foam. The hoses are giving individual control of the two agents. SemDual is rapidly activated, and simple to use The cabinet is thermal insulated and fitted with a space heater, to keep the temperature above a certain temperature.
