Max uptime for all assets OIL & GAS 1/2 Nini/Cecilie - development project Customer: DONG/Bladt Industries The project In the autumn of 2001 DONG (Danish Oil and Natural Gas) sent out tender documents for two new unmanned wellhead platforms. The two platforms named Nini and Cecilie are satellite platforms to the Siri central platform. In the summer of 2002, DONG and Saipem/Bladt Industries A/S entered into a contract on the above project. As a subcontractor to Bladt Industries A/S, Semco Maritime was awarded an EPCI contract (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation). The two satellite platforms are identical unmanned platforms, but contrary to the other platforms of the same type in Danmark, these two platforms are equipped with helideck. In the Danish sector the existence of a helideck requires an emergency shelter and fire fighting equipment on the helideck (By the Danish Energy Agency called a type B topside). The oil production facilities on Nini and Cecilie are of a more refined type than those on the other unmanned platforms in the Danish sector: For the first time water injection and gas lift have been used on an unmanned platform. Technical description According to the design principle for the topside the hazardous area is mainly zone 2 and for the first time the electrical and mechanical equipment had to be in accordance with the Atex directive as the topside came into production after 01-07-2003. Design Bladt Industries entered into business relations with Rambøll (Engineering consulting company) for the design. Semco Maritime carried out the front-end engineering together with Rambøll and after successful approval by DNV of the certification package according to time schedule, Semco Maritime completely took over the electrical and instrumentation detail design. After offshore commissioning the “as built” documentation was handed over to DONG electronically and as hard copy. Wellhead control panel Semco Maritime carried out design and fabrication of two wellhead control panels, one for each platform. Each wellhead panel controls maximum 10 wells (wing, master and sub sea service Country: Denmark Period: 2002 Semco Maritime www.semcomaritime.com semco@semcomaritime.com November 2014 Work with us Dedicated to the energy sector, Semco Maritime is an international contracting and engineering company.
